My brother talks a lot about his smart house. When it was being built, he went on and on about how he would be able to lock and unlock the doors, control the lighting, adjust the temperature, and manage his security settings — all with the sound of his voice.
One of my favorite features is the smart house’s ability to predict when appliances or systems might fail. Now, that’s artificial intelligence at its peak. I’m the kind of person that needs to scan the ending of a movie before I watch it, because I can’t stand terrible endings or faulty surprises; so a real-life heads-up of this kind is right up my alley.
Artificial intelligence does everything, from the use of voice assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Bixby to turbocharging smartphone cameras that can enhance your photos and make you look a bit more Ooh La La. And the security features are a big crowd-pleaser. Most people won’t even buy cell phones without added security features like facial recognition, retinal scans, and fingerprint scanning. Can I hear a “Big Brother Is Watching”?
Most television networks use AI-powered algorithms to analyze your viewing history, which in turn acts as your little virtual assistant, helping to recommend more movies and TV shows for your enjoyment. In addition, they use those same Spidey senses to help gauge what is popular and what is not, so that they have a better grasp on what people want to see.
Many of us are either proud owners of a Tesla or have at least taken a ride in one. If you are wondering how they work, “Tesla’s AI is built in Deep Neural Networks, which are complex algorithms modeled after the human brain. These networks can process large amounts of data, such as images and sensor inputs, to recognize patterns and make decisions. Tesla’s DNNs are trained on massive datasets collected from its fleet of vehicles, allowing the AI to learn from real-world driving scenarios.” If you want to see history in the making, then head to California, Arizona, Texas, Michigan, Nevada, Florida, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Carolina, or Washington State, where these vehicles, commonly referred to as autonomous self-driving or AI-driven vehicles, are being tested.
If you have an aversion to flying, then skip this one. However, if you must, read on. AI-powered flight assistants are now making decisions? Hmm, that can really get the butterflies going. “AI can assist pilots by analyzing vast amounts of data in real-time, providing recommendations for optimal flight paths, fuel management, and weather navigation. This helps pilots make better-informed decisions, especially in complex situations.” I don’t know how comfortable I am with an AI pilot-assist on my plane, but given all the facts, it’s not that scary. In time, there will be no human pilot, only AI. Nail bite.
Video games and mobile app games are front and center in the world of artificial intelligence. Of course, they are; it’s a billion-dollar industry. NPCs, or Non-Player Characters, are used by AI to respond to the player’s actions. Over time, player usage makes the game more adaptive by AI, and to ensure fairness, game balancing tests are run over and over to identify and fix issues.
The real fun comes to those who work a nine-to-five. Have you been dreaming about someone completing tasks for you accurately and making your job the actual dream? Have you ever IN YOUR LIFE heard of ANYONE paying a fully capable Administrative Assistant $360 a year with the skill and precision of the Personal Secretary to the President of the United States? If not, then obviously you haven’t heard of Microsoft Copilot. It’s a game changer. If you want to leave your competitors in the dust and save money while you do it, then Microsoft is your safe place, and eMazzanti Technology is the MSP to get you there.
Copilot to the Rescue
Caroline Franks took over her father’s winery. As it turns out, the bookkeeper retired a year earlier, for health reasons. Unfortunately, at her father’s age, he didn’t notice, and Caroline found herself in a pile of receipts and mail. Refusing to panic, Caroline began to go through her father’s emails.
As it happens, a Copilot Master Class was being offered by eMazzanti Technologies at 12:00 pm that day. Caroline looked up at the clock and realized she had 42 minutes to the Master Class. The Master Class email boasted of Copilot being a glorified assistant, And Caroline was onboard.
She registered immediately. While Caroline waited for the class to start, she uploaded all of the receipts and bills to Microsoft Teams, via her phone. She planned to just file the receipts into SharePoint, by client, a task that she knew would take a while. During the Master Class, she learned that Copilot could gather all the receipts and put them in order by vendor or client.
Caroline requested a free trial and, in a matter of minutes, started working with an eMazzanti Account Manager. Copilot put her receipts in order, but Caroline also wanted them to be placed into Excel.
The eMazzanti account manager asked if she wanted to add in all the emails that were associated with the receipts. “Copilotcan do that?” Caroline asked. “It sure can,” the eMazzanti Account Manager replied.
“Let’s do it then.”
A task that would have taken a week of full days to complete was done in a matter of minutes.
“Thank goodness he already had Microsoft,” Caroline said. “And thank goodness for eMazzanti.”
