Hoboken, New Jersey — (Cision) May 9, 2019 – eMazzanti Technologies, a NYC area managed services provider (MSP), IT consultant, and cloud services company, is proud to announce that The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) has named eMazzanti Technologies as a 2019 Companies That Care: Champions of Good Works Award recipient.
In its seventh year, the Companies That Care award salutes the generosity of New Jersey businesses who demonstrate meaningful philanthropy that is impacting the communities they serve. This year’s champions were decided by a blue-ribbon panel of judges.
eMazzanti was recognized for its Blue Project, a corporate effort to raise awareness and support for ocean conservation and animal protection. For example, the firm commits financial resources to ocean cleanup and marine conservation. In addition, it works on spreading awareness of changes everyone can make to have a positive impact on the ocean’s ecosystem. Furthermore, eMazzanti commits technical resources and equipment to aid in marine research.
“eMazzanti’s marine conservation efforts truly exemplify the theme of the Companies that Care awards program and touched the heart of the judges,” stated Diane Walsh, Executive Vice President, Communications and Programs, CIANJ.
Recently, Jennifer and Carl Mazzanti, CEO and President of eMazzanti Technologies, completed a trip to Iceland. While there, they connected research teams at the WHOI (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute) and Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium with Iceland’s Bjarnarhöfn Shark Museum.
“eMazzanti’s Blue Project reflects our commitment to ocean life as well as our long-time interests,” stated Jennifer Mazzanti, CEO, eMazzanti Technologies. “We are glad that CIANJ has chosen to honor our work to protect the ocean and its wildlife, and ultimately ourselves and the planet.”
To celebrate the award winners, CIANJ and COMMERCE Magazine recently hosted their seventh annual tribute to the kindness and generosity of the business community. The gala reception honored 45 companies, including eMazzanti Technologies and leading manufacturers, retailers, hospitals, banks and colleges and universities as “Champions of Good Works”. In addition, more than 200 business executives attended the event.
“These caring companies embody the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey’s mission to make the Garden State a better place to live, work and raise a family,” said Anthony Russo, President of CIANJ.
CIANJ is a statewide business advocacy organization, representing more than 900 corporate members from every industry sector. Recently, the organization asked the business community to share stories of its philanthropy.
Their stories fill a special section of the March issue of COMMERCE Magazine distributed at the reception. The elegant Nanina’s In the Park in Belleville hosted the reception. An inspirational keynote address given by Janette Scrozzo, Director of Development for Covenant House New Jersey provided a highlight of the evening.
Also of note, eMazzanti Technologies was recently ranked as the #1 NYC Managed Service Provider by Clutch, a Washington, D.C. based ratings and review platform. Business leaders interested in learning more about eMazzanti’s award-winning retail IT services, manufacturing and distribution IT, and government IT infrastructure solutions can check out the eMazzanti Technologies website.
