Copilot Prompts to Reduce Expenses

SHARE

Reviewing expenses, vendors, and pricing strategy can put your business in a fantastic position to “do more with less. These Copilot prompts can help you identify waste, explore alternate ways to reduce expenses, and search for cost-effective vendors.

“Doing more with less” is most successful when you identify waste and allocate realized savings to invest further into your business. This investment can be anything that reduces expenses, increases productivity, drives revenue, and strengthens business security.

Copilot prompts to reduce cost:

Uncover waste in your organization:

  • With a sandboxed Copilot license, provide your businesses inventory and sales information to Copilot, then ask “analyze our current inventory management system and identify areas where we might be overstocking or understocking products.”
  • Ask Copilot to “review work schedules from the last quarter and suggest ways to reduce the need for overtime.”
  • Ask Copilot to “review our marketing and advertising spend to determine if there are any areas where the ROI is low.” Take the savings and increase investment in marketing and advertising that has proven to have a large ROI.

Looking for alternate ways to reduce expenses? Try these prompts:

  • Provide your secure version of Copilot with your organization’s operational processes, and ask Copilot to “review our operational processes and highlight any inefficiencies or redundant steps that could be streamlined.”
  • “Evaluate our energy efficiency and suggest ways to decrease our energy consumption and lower our utility costs.”

Improve vendor selection and procurement processes:

  • Using a licensed Copilot account, provide access to budget and expenses documents to Copilot and ask, “analyze our procurement process to identify ways to save cost and reduce wasteful spending.”
  • “Identify alternate vendors to [list of your vendors] that have a lower price, better product, and reduced delivery time or time to market.”
  • “Who are the dominant vendors that supply our industry and what advantages do their competitors have?”
