New York City area IT consultant cites business continuity/security-first mindset for Inc. recognition and consistent double-digit growth since 2001
Hoboken, New Jersey - (Vocus) August 20, 2014 – For the fifth year in a row, Inc. magazine has ranked eMazzanti Technologies among the top fastest growing private companies in America in its annual Inc. 5000 list. CEO, Carl Mazzanti attributes the achievement to a relentless pursuit of business continuity and data security.
“Making the Inc. 5000 list five years running is spectacular, but protecting our customers’ data and their business when disaster strikes means so much more,” stated Mazzanti. “Whether it’s hackers, hurricanes or other threats, eMazzanti has always had our customer’s backs.”

eMazzanti Technologies ranks number 2,300 on the 2014 list, climbing 235 positions over their 2013 ranking. The IT support and computer consultant is ranked first of only five IT services companies in the Northeast to make the list five times and thirteenth of 60 such companies nationally.
In making the list five consecutive years, eMazzanti also earned the Inc. 5000 Honor Roll designation. Notably, the company has also achieved double-digit growth in each of the years since 2001.
According to a letter to eMazzanti Technologies from Eric Schurenberg, president and editor in chief, Inc. magazine, “As an Inc. 5000 honoree, eMazzanti Technologies now shares a pedigree with Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Clif Bar, Pandora (an eMazzanti client), Patagonia, Oracle, and other notable alumni. The 2014 list added such powerhouses as GoPro, Bridger, Fuhu, Tough Mudder, Bowlmor and Lending Club. You are in good company—which is exactly where you belong.”
Shaped by Disaster
Having organized eMazzanti Technologies in August, 2001, founders Carl and Jennifer Mazzanti forged a business continuity/security-first mindset that has protected customers’ businesses through numerous unforeseen events, fostering long-term relationships and trust.
eMazzanti’s spare-no-effort-to-protect-the-customer’s-business approach helped them prepare customers for hurricane Irene in 2010 and then Sandy in 2012. Their performance through those disaster recoveries is remarkable.
“Reopening the doors quickly is the key to surviving a disaster. In the days leading up to Sandy every employee worked tirelessly checking backups and preparing customers to reopen as soon as possible,” explained Jennifer Mazzanti, president, eMazzanti Technologies.
eMazzanti’s excellent disaster recovery track record was achieved by outfitting their customers, and themselves, with failsafe backup, cloud and virtualization technologies and services; 100% of eMazzanti’s customers were back up and running within 72 hours of Hurricane Sandy’s devastating landfall.
“We have consistently demonstrated the immense value of business continuity solutions,” stated Carl Mazzanti. “Our long-term customer relationships and five years on the Inc. 5000 list confirm that business owners recognize that value.”
How to Make the Inc. 5000 List
Companies making the list are ranked according to the percentage growth of their annual revenue over a three-year period using 2010 as a base year. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2010.
Only U.S.-based, for profit, privately held independent companies, as of December 31, 2013 were eligible for consideration. Firms must also show 2010 revenues of at least $100,000 and 2013 revenues of $2 million or more.
