eMazzanti Supports New Happy Cancer Chick Web Series

Hoboken, New Jersey - (Vocus Public Relations) Sept 20, 2012– eMazzanti Technologies, a Hoboken, New Jersey and New York City area IT expert and computer consultant, announces its support of Season Two of the Happy Cancer Chick, a web series that captures the heart-felt stories of women with cancer. The purpose of the web site stories is to give women cancer victims a place to find hope, support and a life-changing perspective.

“Our focus is in helping women with cancer find a silver-lining inside a life-altering disease,” said Linda Nieves-Powell, Director, Happy Cancer Chick. “A positive outlook and a sense of humor are captured in a series of survivor stories shared by thousands of like-minded women. Knowing you’re not alone means everything.”

Happy Cancer Chick Web Series

In Season One, which began in March 2012, the goal of the Happy Cancer Chick web series was to explore survivorship through the eyes of a fictional cancer survivor inspired by the real-life experiences of Jenny L. Saldana.  As of June, 2012, the website had over 95,000 views and 400 new subscribers.

In October 2012, the second Happy Cancer Chick season will begin. For Season Two, the focus is to tell the inspirational and sometimes humorous stores of real happy cancer chicks who, in the face of adversity, chose to be happy.

Season Two-October

“Our goal for Season Two is to have viewers begin to understand the importance of ‘quieting their lives’ so they can be aware of what their bodies are telling them,” noted Nieves-Powell. “Too many cancer victims take care of everyone but themselves. Almost universally, they wait too long before seeing a doctor.”

As Nieves-Powell and her associates considered the direction and content for Season Two of the Happy Cancer Chick, it became apparent that finding space to shoot the six episode-series was beyond their shoe string budget. Because eMazzanti Technologies is a two-year member of the NYC LBGT Chamber of Commerce, it responded to a request for production space.

All of the episodes for Season Two of the Happy Cancer Chick will be shot at the eMazzanti facilities on October 7th and 14th and the episodes should start appearing online in the month of October as well. Visit: www.happycancerchick.com.
