EMAZZANTI TECHNOLOGIES Signs Up New York Red Bulls Player Kevin Goldthwaite for 2009 MLS Season

HOBOKEN, NJ – March 13, 2009 – Today, eMazzanti Technologies, a leader in computer networking technology, announces its renewed sponsorship of the New York Red Bulls Major League Soccer (MLS) club soccer player Kevin Goldthwaite for the 2009 MLS season.

How Acquired
Acquired from Toronto FC on June 27, 2007 in exchange for defender Todd Dunivant

MLS Experience
2007: Played in one game as a substitute for Houston (April 8 vs. Los Angeles) before being traded to Toronto FC along with a first round 2008 MLS SuperDraft pick in exchange for midfielder Richard Mulrooney. Started in nine games for Toronto FC, scoring the eventual game-winner on May 12 in the club’s first-ever win – a 3-1 victory over Chicago. Played in nine games for New York, starting eight after being acquired via trade on June 27. Missed time from mid-September through end of season with a left knee injury.

2006: Played in 20 games, starting eight.

2005: Made three late-season appearances for the San Jose Earthquakes, registering his first assist. Was loaned to USL First Division’s Portland Timbers on Aug. 1 for remainder of USL season.

College
Attended University of Notre Dame and was named All-Big East First Team and a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist. In 2003, he was named to the All-Big East Second Team, leading the team with nine assists and also received NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region Second Team honors.

Personal
Nicknamed “Goldie.” Trained with French First Division side Auxerre in Dec. 2004. At Notre Dame, majored in management consulting and graduated in Dec. 2004. Volunteered for SPCA and Loaves and Fishes in Sacramento and the Logan Center in South Bend. Son of Tim and Nancy Goldthwaite. Lists hobbies as golf, movies and reading. Favorite movie is Outside Providence. Favorite book is Pillars of the Earth.
