Microsoft released a critical security update today outside of their normal schedule. It involves a vulnerability that would allow hackers to tap into computers without any user interaction in order to steal data or cause other damage. This security update is rated CRITICAL for Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Server 2003. It is rated as IMPORTANT for VISTA and Server 2008.
Follow the link below to the Microsoft site for more information about receiving the update. Customers who utilize eCare Network Management will get all their desktops and servers patched tonight. For customers who are not part of eCare Network Management please call us at 201-360-4400 or write to [email protected] to schedule a service appointment for patch installation or future automation of updates.
