eMazzanti to Recap Windows XP to 8.1 on Voice of Manhattan Business program

NYC tech leader to review how we got to Windows 8 with a look ahead to Windows 9

MicrophoneHoboken, New Jersey - (Vocus) May 1, 2014 — eMazzanti Technologies CEO, Carl Mazzanti, will be a featured guest on the popular blogtalkradio program VMB, The Voice of Manhattan Business, sponsored by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. The 45 minute interview is scheduled for 12:00 Noon (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, May 7. Mazzanti’s topic will be: “From Windows XP to Windows 8.1: Changes, Differences, Trends.”

“There’s a tendency in business to stick with older versions of Windows,” said Mazzanti. “I hope that listeners will take away from the program the understanding that they will profit by upgrading to Windows 8.1.”

Mr. Mazzanti will cover the importance of upgrading operating systems, a brief recap of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, what’s different in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, and what we might expect in Windows 9, rumored to be scheduled for release in the spring of 2015.  Read more →

“It takes many skills and personality types to run a business, even a small business. You really can’t do it alone,” says Martin, a Burlingame, Calif., writer and coach. “It’s a strange world we live in.”

Protecting Your Phone and Tablet from Loss, Theft and Attacks
used with permission from Norton by Symantec

Our phones are not just phones anymore. That ‘phone’ that you use to stay in touch with people is actually a little computer (let’s call it a ‘mobile device’) containing valuable information about you, your family, your friends, and your life. Because many daily activities were previously done on your PC, the information on your mobile device is now as critical and confidential as data on your laptop or desktop. It’s time to start thinking about protection beyond the PC.
