At present, there are 190 countries in the world, or more depending on whom you ask. To make matters worse, there are more than 6,900 languages throughout the world, Mandarin being first, followed by English. Many are no longer used on a daily basis. Although this website may be available worldwide, it is obviously not feasible for us to translate our content into all 6,900 languages, let alone the official languages of the 190 recognized countries.
If your country of residence or the location where you are accessing our website requires that our Terms of Use and/or Privacy Policy be translated into the language of such country or location to be binding, please exit our website and do not use any of its content, services or features. If you nevertheless continue to use our website in spite of our failure to comply with such translation requirements, you do so at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable, and you voluntarily agree and consent to be legally bound by the English version of our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. In addition, you hereby indemnify us against all losses, damages, costs, fines, penalties, liabilities and expenses (including without limitation legal expenses) incurred or suffered by us and arising out of your use of our website where we have not provided required translations of our Terms of Use and/or Privacy Policy.
Information that we collect may be processed in or transferred to countries (such as the United States), which do not have data protection laws equivalent to those in force in the European Economic Area or other countries. See Section 5 (International transfers of your personal data) of our Privacy Policy. You expressly agree that by using this website or any of its functions and/or providing us with your personal and other information, you agree to the terms stated in Section 5 (International transfers of your personal data) of our Privacy Policy, Section 5 (Acceptable use), and in particular subsection 5.4, of our Terms of Use, and Section 27 (Governing law, jurisdiction and venue) of our Terms of Use.
IF YOU RESIDE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION, CANADA OR ANOTHER JURISDICTION WITH SIMILAR DATA TRANSFER REGULATIONS, BY USING THIS WEBSITE OR ANY OF ITS FEATURES, YOU EXPLICITLY CONSENT THAT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US MAY BE TRANSFERRED AND STORED IN COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE EU, CANADA OR YOUR RESIDENT JURISDICTION, IN CONNECTION WITH OUR PRIVACY POLICY AND OUR TERMS OF USE, AND IN ORDER TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO YOU. IF YOU DO NOT CONSENT, PLEASE DO NOT PROVIDE US WITH ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION.
If you do not agree with all of the above provisions, or any of those contained in our Terms of Use or Privacy Policy, please exit our website and do not use any of its content, services or features.
