Hoboken, New Jersey - (Cision) September 27, 2018 — eMazzanti Technologies today announced that it is a Platinum Sponsor of the National Manufacturing Day Event organized by the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP).

The NJMEP National Manufacturing Day program is scheduled to run from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018 at The Marigold, 315 Churchill Avenue in Somerset, New Jersey.

The annual event brings together manufacturers, students, supporters and industry expert speakers. The proceedings will also include the announcement of NJMEP manufacturing award winners, and sponsors will briefly address the gathering.

Informative breakout sessions will tackle current manufacturing topics, including tariffs, food safety, red tape, recruiting, tax reform, employment law, women in manufacturing and driving industry growth through innovative technology, education and government support.

Innovator of the Year Finalist

Recently, Co-founder and Vice President of eMazzanti Technologies, Carl Mazzanti, was named a Finalist for the Innovator of the Year Award presented by the NJMEP. The award honors those who “use innovation to improve business, better the NJ manufacturing community, or positively impact a STEM-related field.” The winner will be announced during the program.

Examples of innovation considered for the award include creative new devices, ideas, inventions, processes, product enhancements and solutions to problems. In addition, other awards to be presented include Manufacturer of the Year for each of the small, medium, large and young or startup manufacturing business categories and the Raymond Hopp Award for excellence.

National Manufacturing Day and Cyber-security

eMazzanti Technologies partners with NJMEP to help manufacturers of all sizes strengthen cyber-security through comprehensive assessment, advanced technology, business continuity planning and breach recovery. Earlier this year, Carl Mazzanti, was the featured speaker at a Manufacturing Cyber-Security Program also organized by the NJMEP. Mazzanti’s topic was, “Secure the Manufacturing Product Line.”

“Manufacturing has recently jumped to number two on the list of industries most vulnerable to cyber-attack,” stated Mazzanti. “As industrial technology advances, manufacturers are increasingly using cloud, data analytics and mobile to improve their connectivity and infrastructure. This means a larger attack surface from which cyber criminals can infiltrate.”

Many small business manufacturers lack the resources to manage cyber-security risks. Moreover, the shortage of cyber-security professionals and the evolving nature of the risks make effective cyber-security a challenge for organizations of all sizes.

The experts at eMazzanti Technologies work overtime to understand the fast-changing cyber-security landscape. Likewise, they provide advancedmanufacturing cyber-security technologies to detect and block attacks. In addition, they design multi-layered proactive cyber defense solutions to mitigate manufacturing cyber-security risk, including a variety of managed services solutions and 24/7 network monitoring.
