Keeping current with evolving rules across multiple jurisdictions, dealing with ransomware and countering internal threats topics of expert NJBIZ cyber security panel
The NJBIZ cyber security educational event is scheduled to run from 8:00 to 10:00 am at The DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset, 200 Atrium Drive, Somerset, New Jersey. Interested parties may register with NJBIZ.com for a nominal fee.
The panel of industry experts will explore topics such as keeping current with evolving rules across multiple jurisdictions, dealing with ransomware and malware, countering internal threats, and where to get help for prevention, defense and remediation, among others.
“Small and mid-size businesses that use cloud, data analytics and mobile to improve their connectivity and infrastructure present a larger attack surface for cyber-criminals to infiltrate,” stated Mazzanti. “Defensive measures must keep pace.”
The panel moderator, Mike Geraghty, is the Director of Cybersecurity and State Chief Information Security Officer, New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC).
Panelists slated for the event include NYC tech entrepreneur and cyber-security expert Carl Mazzanti, Timothy Guim, President and CEO, PCH Technologies, John Wolak, Chair, Privacy & Data Security Team, Gibbons P.C., and Dominic Genzano, CEO, Secure Technology Integration Group (STIGroup).
Recently, Mazzanti was honored with the NJ Digi-Tech Innovators Award, presented by NJBIZ.
