eMazzanti was founded in August of 2001 by Carl Mazzanti and Jennifer Shine, now Jennifer Mazzanti, just weeks before the tragic events of 9/11. “Being in the World Trade Center on 9-11 shortly after I started my business was a monumental challenge that made us strong enough to survive anything,” says Mazzanti. “It forged a security-first mindset that has made our business successful through ups and downs, the great recession, Hurricane Sandy and other disasters. After 9/11, we had to adapt our service to focus on business security (cyber-security and business continuity) rather than generic IT services.”
