WordPress Developer

Computer consulting firm seeks a candidate for WordPress developer position to work with our growing client base in the NYC metro area. The position requires an individual who is a great project manager, can work independently and manage their time well, and present a professional image to our clients. Our firm is at the forefront of new technologies, so the position is a great opportunity for a technology junky who can think on their feet and would like to be part of our growing team.

Those who apply will work full-time on-site to help us design and develop search-engine-optimized WordPress themes that lead to conversions. Our firm needs someone to create intuitive, functional, and appealing interfaces and who is just as good at building the back-end. “define(‘WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE’, true);” would mean a great deal to you, and experience with split-testing is a plus.

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Design, upgrade and continual maintenance of client sites.
  • Timely diagnoses of, response to and resolution of client support cases.
  • Analysis of digital assets and web presence for recommendations on improvements.
  • Documentation of all work done for clients.

Only those who meet the following requirements need apply:

  • Know and love object-oriented programming.
  • 1-4 Years experience developing for business-to-business facing websites
  • Debugging and Cross-browser testing
  • Expert with WordPress.
  • Experience with WordPress Templating.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices for website development
  • Preferred OAuth, Social Sign-on experience
  • Properly utilize HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of ConnectWise
